We the undersigned ask President Obama and the members of Congress to not pass healthcare reform with a Public Option or Government sponsored co-op. Our healthcare is the best in the world and does not need to be taken over by the government. We encourage you to focus the reforms on solutions that will actually reduce costs without a takeover by the government.

1. Encourage Health Savings Accounts
2. Allow Insurance Pools for individuals independent of employment status
3. State mandates should be eliminated
4. Allow a National market for healthcare insurance instead of state based
5. Tort reform

Our government is a joke ! I have abandoned all hope that we'll get out of this depression . Hello communist America . Good-bye freedom !!!

I appreciate the constitution as it stands. There is supposed to be a balance of power. Too many government run programs takes the power away from the people and places into the hands of everyone in positions of power. Where is the sovereignty in that?

If cash for clunkers cost ,000 per vehicle, do you really expect usto believe you will keep health care costs down.

Health Care decisions should be made between patients and their doctors. Keep the Gov't out of Health Care and the Insurance business and preserve patients rights and responsibilities.

I do not support Govt. run healthcare!!! If this administration wants to start with cost cutting measures why doesn’t Congress and the OIG start with cutting the fraud out of Medicaid and Medicare!?!?! The govt’s track record for running any program efficiently is miserable at best, to give a few examples, Am Track, United Postal Service, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, should I go on? There are so many other initiatives that could and should be implemented immediately to alleviate the cost of healthcare, which I mind you is caused by Govt bureaucratic interference in the first place, but rather there is no desire to do so. This brings me to the conclusion that the recent healthcare hysteria is nothing more than a power grab by our Govt. Our Govt is bound to and limited by the United States Constitution, yea that old piece of paper/ document our founding fathers wrote to secure our freedoms from a tyrannical Govt. More Govt control into the free market system is not the answer to any of our problems but rather it is the greatest hindrance. For those who prefer to live in a Nanny State, they are welcome to leave this great country and migrate up north to Canada or head south to live under the fun loving, all caring dictator, Castro. So, to sum this all up quickly, I STAND IN OPPOSTION TO GOVT. HEALTHCARE AND CAP & TRADE (TAX)!! I am watching how you vote and will be sure not to support or vote for you come next election. Thank-you for your time!

I do not want a public option, no only we cannot afford it, as the Govt ran the post office, medicare and Social security, it eventually will end up like the UK and Cuba!
